It's great to find like minded Christians.

I'm currently searching for a farm internship for the '10 growing season. Last year I used ATTRA's directory which is a very good farming resource. This year I'd love to work for Christian farmers in either VA or NC. Know anyone?

My brother enjoyed WWOOFing on the west coast two years ago.

What a great article, after being in commercial kitchen for over 30 yrs I can attest to the fact people do not think of the energy costs when cooking. We are creatures of habit, it's just the way we have always done it. Great advice!

I've used freecycle for a few years now and love it. I was able to get rid of a bedroom set when we downsized, no problem and cedar siding we had leftover from a project. I even picked up a gas oven and range I needed for my rental property. I recommend the site for anyone conscientious about where there stuff goes. Our city's freecycle uses yahoo.groups, that might be a good place to start.

I'd like it even better if they had a non-scented version. Maybe that's just me!

I agree, going green is not that difficult. In fact its easier than we thought. All we need is to put it to our hearts, set it as our goal this year and the reward will be satisfactory. I hope we can start the green action now. We can also use an eco-friendly products such as a stainless steel containers instead of plastic type wares for storing foods and other small items. The steel containers are beautiful and long lasting plus its reusable.

Some people wonder what the point is of, say, installing a solar hot water system in your home when China is carrying on building coal-fired power stations and belching out carbon dioxide.

While a LaZer2 solar panel on your roof won't in itself to much to reduce global carbon emissions, what it can do (as well as lower your energy bills) is prompt friends and neighbours to consider doing the same: a momentum will be built up, enabling a policymaker attending the Copenhagen Summit or similar gatherings to say with confidence that there is popular demand for a greener world and to challenge other countries to take the bigger measures that are needed in the long run.

When it comes to the advancement of cleaning your home one of the latest gadgets that people are going crazy over are steam mops. For a very long time, the unfortunate chore of cleaning your floors would involve getting on your hands and knees and really giving it a good scrub. How painful is that? But it was a sacrifice that had to be made if you wanted to disinfect and get into those areas that are hard to reach on your wood, stone, and tile floors.
