I was able to get rid of a bedroom set when we downsized, no problem and cedar siding we had leftover from a project. I even picked up a gas oven and range I needed for my rental property. I recommend the site for anyone conscientious about where there stuff goes. Our city's freecycle uses yahoo.groups, that might be a good place to start.
